Plastics technology with engineering DNA from the heart of Baden-Württemberg

Expertise in thermoforming

At the foot of Hohenzollern Castle, in the heart of the Swabian innovation region, we have been developing and manufacturing customized thermoforming solutions for customers worldwide for over 25 years – including those in the automotive, medical technology, rail, and mechanical engineering industries.

What once began as plastics processing is now a technology-leading company with outstanding engineering expertise and one of the most modern machine parks in the industry.

In a 9,000 square meter production area, around 70 employees combine Swabian precision with international expertise. Our name, BURG, not only stands for our regional roots—it also symbolizes consistency, strength, and vision. These qualities make us a reliable partner for demanding plastic projects—from the initial feasibility study to large-scale production.

Medium-sized strength – Short decision-making processes, personal support, and the flexibility of an SME

Regional roots – Production in Bisingen, 70 jobs in the region, reliable local partner

Internationally successful – Partner to international companies from various industries

Sustainable orientation – Investments in the circular economy and resource-saving production

Personal working environment – Flat hierarchies and genuine teamwork characterize our everyday working life

Engineering-Competence

From idea to series production – engineering as a core competence

We are more than just a manufacturing company—we are your engineering partner. With structured development processes, state-of-the-art simulation technology, and in-depth material expertise, we realize projects that others would not dare to attempt. Our unique technical features:

  • Unique dimensions: Thermoforming heights of up to 1,200 mm are possible thanks to the GEISS special machine – only a few thermoforming companies can achieve this performance.
  • Highest precision: CNC machining with an accuracy of 0.01 mm on mold surfaces of up to 3,500 × 2,300 mm.
  • R&D partnerships: Experience in ZIM-funded innovation projects and development collaborations.
  • Sustainable innovation: Development of temperature-resistant PET recyclates and biodegradable plastic solutions.

Vision & Values

Quality as a standard – sustainability as an obligation

Our vision is clear: we are shaping the future of our industry by setting the highest standards in quality, information security, and sustainability. With certifications such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and planned TISAX and environmental management standards, we are setting benchmarks—not because we have to, but because we want to.

We are consistently driving forward digitalization: from online planning of all operating orders to EDI connections and end-to-end barcode recording. This is how we combine Swabian thoroughness with digital efficiency.
